LAZARETH, a modified car factory from France, has repeatedly challenged our imagination of motorcycles. They use their superb technology and unconstrained creativity to show us time and time again how the French achieve romance.
They have never been short of crazy ideas. They previously released plans for the flying motorcycle "LAZARETH LMV 496", and most people thought they were crazy.
French modified car factory LAZARETH has always been synonymous with madness
Determined to build a flying motorcycle, this is a four-wheel variable structure of romance and persistence, just like a movie reproduction
This flying motorcycle LAZARETH LMV 496 is based on its predecessor LM 847 - a four-wheel motorcycle equipped with a MASERATI Quattroporte engine as the core. LMV 496 also uses this V8 4.7L MASERATI engine. In land driving mode, the appearance also roughly inherits the outline of LM 847.
In order to achieve the flight function, the four wheels of the LMV 496 are designed to expand outwards. A set of gas turbine jet engines are installed in the centers of the wheels, using the four downward-facing jet turbines to provide upward force.
The configuration of LMV 496 is quite similar to that of its predecessor LM 847
The model with four wheels merged is still very handsome even without deformation!
As you can see from the side, the middle part of the wheel is the structure of a turbojet engine
After the four wheels are unfolded, the turbine faces the ground and sprays compressed air to provide upward force.
The transformed style is very sci-fi
Attached to the safety line, a clearer view of the turbojet engine extending downward
In order to prove the feasibility of LMV 496, LAZARETH recently released a video: In the video, you can clearly see that the extended four-wheel LMV 496 slowly rises by relying on the turbine injection, leaving a few meters above the ground.
Safety cables are also connected to the four wheels of LMV 496, indicating that the vehicle's flight function has not yet reached a practical stage. We have no way of knowing when we will see LAZARETH LMV 496 flying high in the sky. It may take several years of hard work, but LAZARETH will not give up on realizing those wild dreams.
